Install, first run and help

Before you start

  • Platform: Linux x86_64 (AppImage) or Windows x64 (portable zip). No macOS build.
  • A license key: from a purchase or the free trial. The key belongs to the computer that activates it.
  • An account you own or are authorized to use with its Telegram sign-in.
  • Linux only: an unlocked Secret Service vault (GNOME Keyring or equivalent) so the app can store credentials safely.

Linux (AppImage)

  1. In Downloads, right-click Ewhore.net.AppImage, open Properties → Permissions, and allow executing it as a program. Or run chmod +x Ewhore.net.AppImage.
  2. Open it with a double-click or ./Ewhore.net.AppImage.
  3. If it says libfuse.so.2 or fuse is missing: on Ubuntu 24.04 run sudo apt install libfuse2t64; on Ubuntu 22.04 use libfuse2.
  4. Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module" is a Linux Mint notice; the window still opened and you do not need that module.

Windows (portable zip)

  1. Unzip Ewhore.net_0.3.1_windows-x64.zip.
  2. Open the single executable inside. There is no installer step.

First run

  1. Enter your license key. Connect online at least once a day so the signed session can renew.
  2. Add a Telegram account and finish Telegram’s sign-in. No application API ID or hash is needed.
  3. Choose where the account may reply. Stop sending stays available in the workspace header and survives a restart.

If something goes wrong

  • “Vault unavailable” on Linux: unlock or create the default collection in your password manager (for example GNOME Keyring), then reopen the app. Do not delete existing keys.
  • The trial key does not activate: the one-trial-per-device limit is enforced by the server; an expired trial cannot be restarted with another trial key.
  • An order is still unpaid or awaiting review: keep your private receipt link; it restores the same order without creating a new one.
  • A reply shows an unknown outcome: check the recorded status before sending again. The app never fills an unknown result with a fresh attempt.

Updates

The installed app verifies a signed update before it installs, downloads it in the background, and prepares replacement at a safe shutdown. A closed app checks on its next launch; nothing updates while the app and computer are off. Theme, accounts, keys, settings and draft work are kept when the program updates.

Privacy

What stays where.

Short version: this website has no trackers, and your account data is handled on your computer and by the hosted workspace you enable.

On this computer

Telegram sessions, the license key and unsent drafts are stored locally through the operating system’s credential vault. Message-text retention on the device follows your own setting, and you can remove stored message text locally.

Hosted workspace

A connected account reaches Telegram through the hosted service so replies can continue while the desktop is closed. Replies depend on account readiness, chat permission and Stop; a purchase does not grant permission to message anyone.

This website

No analytics, no third-party scripts and no third-party fonts. Checkout and trial requests go only to license.ewhore.net. Private receipt and invite links are credentials — keep them private.
